Dr. Chélise Kasun

Dr. Chélise Kasun, B.Sc., DMD, is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, where she received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She grew up in Saskatchewan and moved to British Columbia in 2007.

Dr. Kasun is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She has completed coursework at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), where she studies neuromuscular dentistry and cosmetic dentistry so she can strive to achieve the healthiest, optimally functional and most beautiful smiles for each of her patients.

She is a general dentist and is especially passionate about children’s growth & development, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorders, and airway disorders such as snoring and sleep apnea. She is constantly pursuing education opportunities in these fields.

Dr. Kasun is proud to be the social coordinator for the Victoria and District Dental Society.

Dr. Furey Higgins

Dr. Furey Higgins, B.Sc., DDS, is a graduate of Dalhousie University where he received his Bachelor of Science in biology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Dr. Higgins grew up in the town of North Sydney on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He moved to Victoria, BC after finishing dental school in 1996 and has been dedicated to providing patient-centered dental care ever since.

Dr. Higgins is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Recognizing that the airway plays an important role in overall health, Dr. Higgins has a special interest in dental sleep medicine and the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.

Dr. Higgins enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially root canal therapy and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Kasun and Dr. Higgins are partners in both their professional and personal lives. They spend their spare time raising their daughters Mylène and Niamh. They enjoy outdoor activities and supporting the local Victoria arts scene.
